Foot Locker is opening their latest House of Hoops on State Street. This is huge! When the first House of Hoops opened in Harlem, NYC in 2007 the streets flooded with basketball fanatics hoping to get a glimpse of the store. This is definitely a major step forward in revitalizing State Street Shopping. As Mr. Frank Sinatra said, "State Street, that great street." I don't expect anything less for the turnout in Chicago, so get there early.
30 Aug Nike Foamposite Pro "Pearl"
The Foamposite made a huge impact with its debut in 1997. The main aesthetic difference between the original Foamposite and the Foamposite Pro is the large swoosh on the lateral upper. This particular "Pearl" colorway was originally an exclusive release to House of Hoops. The release date is set for September 3rd, 2010 and we'll be getting a limited number of pairs for the website.
25 Aug Air Jordan Retro 1 "BANNED"
At first glance these Jays look like a pair of regular ol' "Bred" colorway Air Jordan Retro 1's. Upon further inspection you'll notice black X's censoring the Jumpman logo on the tongue, heel, and Jordan insignia which gives a new twist to the shoes that served as the catalyst in the creation of sneaker culture. No word on the release date yet...but would you guys like to see these available for pre-order?

24 Aug Foamposite Air Jordan 1 Armor "Cranberry"
If the Air Jordan 1 and Nike Foamposite had a baby...this is what it would look like. The foamposite shell was first introduced in 1997 on Penny Hardaway’s Foamposite. The material was an instant hit among sneaker collectors and since then has made its way onto other classics like the Air Jordan 1 and Air Force 1. These joints are set to release December 2010. So the question is...should we get these in stock for pre-order?
